What is Why?
Why is a musical drama production that portrays the story of the life of Jesus. Why is supported by a live band, choirs, soloists and a cast of about 200.

How many performances will be presented?
The performances for 2010 have already taken place. All performances are exactly the same.

When are the performances?
The 2010 performances have already taken place. These performances usually take place the weekend before Easter weekend.

When do the doors open for each performance?
The doors to the Worship Center open 30 minutes prior to each performance.

Where are the performances presented?
In the Worship Center of Forestville Baptist Church located at 2 Old McElhaney Road, Greenville, SC 29617. Click here for directions.

How much are the tickets?
There is no cost for General Admission tickets, but come early to ensure you get a seat. Sponsor Tickets are available for $10 and are for reserved seats in the front rows.

Is there reserved seating for groups?
The only reserved seating is for special needs groups such as groups from assisted living facilities, the hearing impaired, and groups of 20 or more from out of town. Please contact our church office at (864) 834-4276 or by email at for more information or for assistance for your group.

Is childcare available?
Yes, for children ages birth-5 years. Class sizes are limited in order to maintain a safe and loving environment for the children in our care.

Is the performance suitable for young children?
Parents should use their discretion as to whether to bring very young children to a presentation that includes a scourging and crucifixion scene. The scouring scene is quite realistic and may be frightening to young children. However, children as young as age five are participating in the performances, and many parents have reported that the production gave them the opportunity to discuss what Jesus did for us on the cross in response to questions from their four and five year old.

Is there wheelchair seating and accessibility?
Yes, there is limited wheelchair seating available. Please see our ushers and they will be glad to direct you to the correct area.

What about handicapped parking?
Handicapped parking is available close to the main entrance to the Worship Center.
